Our Mission

The Miami Giving Tree was established to help children and young adults afflicted with Crohn's, Colitis and other IBD related illnesses. Our mission is to create various projects such as social media advocacy, toy drives, and fundraising. Crohn's is often considered a silent disease, as many patients go undiagnosed for long periods of time, prolonging their suffering from the disease. Advocating and spreading awareness for IBD, allows patients the ability to get access to the help and medications they need to live healthy, more fulfilling lives.  Our foundation also creates a safe, inclusive, and supportive community to let children and teens know they do not have to suffer alone.  

In order to help achieve our goal we plan on organizing different events and projects. These projects will have individual and separate goals yet they will all come together to help achieve the main goal of helping children and young adults afflicted with Crohn's and IBD.
